Activities



CHANGE's activities includes awareness raising and sensitizing, capacity building of individuals & organisations, disseminating education & training modules, campaigning networking and advocating issues. The main focus of all these activities is to create awareness among the members of society to CHANGE the societal trends in particular. This will help them to move fast towards the better tomorrow. The major focus of CHANGE activities is as follows:

These are some of the activities for indigenous people where CHANGE is involved at the moment. We are looking for the projects aims to make people active and prepared to face any calamities in life.

Apart from these, CHANGE as an affiliate organization of the Pakistan Social Forum (PSF) has been actively contributing in planning and implementing Human Rights related activities under the Joint Action Committee (JAC for Human Rights). As a part of this initiative, CHANGE has prepared extensive material on the ways to unite the NGOs and CBOs.

In collaboration with the SAP-PK, CHANGE has planned a series of training programmes for NGOs. The training includes four modules focusing on Community Needs Assessment for health issues remote areas. Need analysis and capacity building for developing communication material, blood testing of the community people and finalizing the comprehensive health plan. In this connection, several trainings are planned in these areas.

Additionally in collaboration with Sudhar we are planning to find ways and means in streamlining the educational activities in Pakistan both at formal and non formal education sectors. In this regard we are planning to develop model schools, training of the teachers including institutions providing advance education and including ideological training in their existing training modules.

In order to systematize its existing efforts and plan future short/long-term interventions, CHANGE has approached a few resource organisations. Some of the funding ensured but efforts to ensure further support continue.
